Holidays

Holidays are precious for us all. ALcontrol team members receive a paid holiday allowance of 33 days (based on 25 days plus 8 bank holidays). Our staff in Scotland receive one day extra. Our business works on bank holidays therefore we express holiday allowance as the total number inclusive of bank holidays. Please check when you apply the working days and hours for your chosen role.

Funding for Education

Developing our people is important to ALcontrol. The Company likes to give financial support to team members who want to continue their education or learn new skills which are relevant to their role. The key to this is your own commitment. Is there a new skill or qualification that you are determined to gain? We may be able to help you.

Pension

Planning for our future matters and ALcontrol supports this. In addition to the Government’s Auto-Enrolment Pension Scheme, our employees are offered the opportunity to join our enhanced Company Stakeholder Pension Scheme into which both the individual and Company contribute.

Life assurance

Members of our Company Stakeholder Pension Scheme will receive a Life Assurance benefit.  We hope you live long and prosper but in the worst case our scheme will pay four times your annual salary to your beneficiary in the event of your death during your employment with us. No-one wants a scenario like this to occur but it is reassuring to know this cover is in place.

Help for Parents

Many of our team are working parents. To help with the cost of childcare, team members can benefit from joining our HMRC approved salary sacrifice Childcare Voucher scheme which enables members of the scheme to save on the cost of childcare. Individuals who want to participate agree monthly reductions from their gross pay – saving income tax and National Insurance contributions.

Cycle to Work Scheme

To support well-being and help protect the environment, team members can benefit from joining our HMRC approved salary sacrifice scheme enabling them to buy a bike to cycle to work.
